ADULT CHOIR
Adult choir is an active group of talented volunteers who love to sing and share their music. Anyone who loves to sing is welcome to join. Choir rehearses each Thursday evening except when the ensemble meets, and sings during first service. They sing just about every style of music. Choir members also sometimes sing solos or in small groups for second service.
ENSEMBLE
Ensemble is a mini orchestra (strings, brass, woodwinds, percussion) that plays a wide variety of music from classical to pop. Anyone, of any age, who plays a musical instrument, is welcome to join. Ensemble rehearses one Thursday evening a month and plays for first service the following Sunday. Members of the ensemble also sometimes play solos and in small groups for second service.
CHILDREN’S CHOIRS
Although we do not yet have year round children’s music groups, we do enjoy music from the children at special Sunday services:
Children’s Choir
Hand Chimes
Various solos and small ensembles
ACUUSTICATS
The AcUUsticats are a four piece group that seeks to capture the vibe of mid-Sixties soft-to-medium rock bands. They love to do less familiar tunes from highly familiar artists, and add to the texture of their material with two and three part harmonies. They borrow from such musicians as The Beatles, The Eagles, Linda Ronstadt, Neil Young, The Yardbyrds, The Zombies, and Nillson, while throwing in the occasional original composition.
CONCERTS
"Saturdays at Shadowridge" is a concert series sponsored by our Music Committee four times each year. These events provide exciting Saturday afternoons here at the Fellowship made special by exceptional talents.
The musical doors are many and they all open to something good.
